Wikipedia

I just read Nicholson Bakers Gaurdian article on Wikipedia at http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/apr/10/wikipedia.internet. Unfortunately I found that overall this article left me a little sad. I was under the impression that Wikipedia was awash with articles about ordinary people, places and objects all claiming their right to electronic imortality. Instead I discover that there is a inquisition of “do-gooders” that go around deleting all the entries that will probably become the very treasures and antiquities that historians will be interested in in years to come. Shame :-(.
